1. Object

HairBook is an online platform that connects clients with hair salon professionals. These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the platform by any registered user (client, salon owner, or staff member). By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety.

2. Commitments

Users agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and throughout their use of the platform. Salon owners are responsible for the accuracy of their salon details, services, pricing, and staff information. Clients agree to honour booked appointments or cancel in a timely manner. Any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal use of the platform is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension.

3. Personal Data (GDPR)

HairBook collects and processes personal data (name, email address, phone number, appointment history) solely for the purpose of operating the platform and improving user experience. Data is never sold to third parties. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, export, and request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Data is stored on secure servers and retained for as long as your account is active, or as required by applicable law.

4. Liability

HairBook acts as an intermediary and is not a party to the service contract between clients and salon professionals. The platform cannot be held liable for disputes arising from appointments, service quality, or no-shows. HairBook makes reasonable efforts to ensure platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Users are responsible for securing their login credentials and must notify HairBook immediately of any unauthorised use of their account.
